Pottery & Earthenware

This product is a combination of clay mixed with a type of quartz which is unique to the North of Lebanon. The inclusion of the quartz allows the clay to sustain high temperatures, whether hot or cold, while preventing the utensil from cracking. It also allows the retention of the attained temperature upon cooking or cooling.

Every piece of pottery in this collection undergoes a six-week manufacturing process, from its initial molding phase up-until its baking stage and can be used on stoves, in ovens and on barbecues.

Utensils do not require soaking in water, but an initial olive oil coating is preferable, especially upon first use, in order to allow the pottery to absorb the natural oil and accordingly improve the flavor and cooking experience.
